What Are Quilters Blogging About Today?

I hope you all had a lovely Christmas Day … we certainly did, surrounded by extended family, some of whom I was looking down on when I last saw them, but are now looking down on me, new members and in-laws of we had only seen at a wedding!

Most of the younger generation came dressed ready to spend time in the pool, though at least a couple of a slightly older generation didn’t have their togs, but went in anyway, but had to refrain in the last hour so they didn’t have to wear wet clothes on the ...

The designs in this project file could be used all year round as they are not so obviously Christmas colours. The blocks are from the Electric Quilt Library, though I have modified some.

If anyone copies the design above, please don’t make the same mistake I did!

EQ and Me got that title simply because it features blocks from the Electric Quilt Library, modified and used in designs by me.

Electric quilt has also been used in designing Christmas cards many times over the years, and designs to applique on Christmas stockings, tablecloths, invitations to Christmas events, and of course wall hangings and quilts.

I have also used EQ to draw diagrams and patterns for everything from home made Christmas trees, dolls of many shapes and sizes including Santa, also many tree decorations. Without EQ my Christmas decorations would be a lot more limited than they are ...

I have to admit that just about every day I find time to play with my favourite toy, Electric Quilt 8, it feels like I have just opened a wonderful Christmas gift.

I have to admit that there are some days when I don’t get something I like, but they are not the majority, and quite often when I open up that project file next time I see the designs with fresh eyes, and either can see how to fix them, or discover that they are not so bad after all!
